We offer free legal advice to exploited migrant domestic workers from lawyers. This includes advice on visas, regularising immigration status, accessing statutory rights and referrals into the National Referral Mechanism which provides survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking with legal recognition and access to rights under the Modern Slavery Victim Care Contract.
As a First Responder Organisation, Kalayaan is one of only nine organisations in the UK able to refer survivors of modern slavery and human trafficking into the National Referral Mechanism.
Please contact Kalayaan for confidential advice on your situation by emailing info@kalayaan.org.uk or calling 0207 243 2942
If you are not a migrant domestic worker, then you can seek help from another First Responder Organisation. The Government website sets out a list of Statutory and Non-Statutory First Responder Organisations on their website.
